Faith and Family

Marilyn Eitzen Jones

In the season of celebrating family, we were thrilled to present this collection of family-themed artwork by our own Marilyn Eitzen Jones. Having had the good fortune to accumulate considerable information about her family background, Marilyn has had the exciting opportunity to produce a number of pieces in a visual format.

Both her father’s and mother’s family share the same background and a very devoted religious faith, which resulted in years of migration in order to preserve their heritage and faith. This exhibit is intended to help tell that story.  Music also played an important role in her family background as well as within her husband’s family so those images became a part of this visual story.

Artreach Gallery

The ArtReach Gallery graces the walls of Watson Hall at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church and is the work of the Visual Arts Committee of LLUMC and is sponsored by the Lovers Lane Foundation. Purchase prices are available upon request.
